This battery pack is for a matched pair of 12-volt batteries, to maintain a healthy battery ensure it is fully charged before first use and where possible as soon as you can after every use, the more residual energy you can keep in the battery the longer life it will have overall saving you money in the long run. If for any reason you are not using the powered chair for long periods then give it a charge every four or five weeks just to keep the cells fresh, this is even more important during the winter months especially if kept in a cold place.
The battery pack is recyclable so when it has eventually reached the end of its life please ensure it is sent to a recycling centre where it can be processed into another product, maybe even another battery, this makes it a clean, green and environmentally friendly product, more information about this can be found on our recycle page.
