The Micro-Balance by Rascal is a three wheeled lightweight compact class scooter designed to be cheap and portable (able to easily fold down and fit into most car boots) but without sacrificing other necessary features of a scooter. Some of these features are listed below;

The standard fit batteries required for the Rascal Micro-Balance is two 12v 12ah which this page is offering the specifications and physical size is further down the page so you can confirm. We also supply a larger 15 ampere which is the same physical size as the twelve amps so they would directly replace your current batteries. Having the more powerful batteries grants you more miles per charge, the link to these will be further down the page.
Once you receive your batteries they will be almost fully charged but you should put them on charge before your first use, overnight if you are able but importantly never leave any battery on charge for more than 24-hours as this can shorten expected battery life considerably.
Putting the batteries on charge after every use is very good practice and will keep them at peak condition for the longest. If a period of eight weeks pass and the batteries haven't been used it is highly recommend that you fully charge them. Installing your new batteries shouldn't be too complicated and you should follow your manual that came with the Rascal Micro Balance carefully to avoid damage to the scooter and to yourself. Just take the box, roll it over and undo the screws holding on the lid. then roll it back, lift off the lid and you will see the two batteries, just change one at a time. A piece of advice would be to take pictures during each step of removing the old batteries which should make installing the new ones that much easier if you need to refer. But it is only two cables on each of them.
