The GoGo Elite Traveller plus is a substantial 4-mile per hour travel scooter with great portability manoeuvrability and stability that can be disassembled with one hand into five low weight pieces to make it a little easier to put in to the back of a vehicle making it very transportable.
As standard it takes a pair of 12v 17ah batteries, this offer is for a pair of 18ah ones to directly replace them for a slightly longer runtime. this is something you should already know and if you not it would be worth checking as some models are supplied from the manufactures with 12ah versions which are a different physical size. we have supplied a link to these further down the page.
These valve regulated batteries will not leak even if laid on their side making them ideal for putting into the boot of a car. they are approved for air travel but you should of course make your own enquires with the airline of your choice for any specific requirements or restrictions.

While this is a great price for a pair of batteries you still should be aware of how to look after them to get the best value for money from them that you can, every time that you use them and they get below 50% of charge you are shortening the overall life span. if you can you really want to always leave 20% capacity in the battery or more, while sometimes you will need do this as a matter of use. do try to be vigilant and charge after every use, after all its your money and if not being used charge every 8-weeks to try to overcome the natural self discharge that will occur.
Charge your new batteries fully before first use, if in doubt charge over night, never leave your batteries on charge for more than 24-hours at a time, just until they are charged fully.
VRLA sealed lead acid batteries are non-spill, not-hazardous and maintenance free. These Pride Mobility batteries have a capacity of 18Ah each, as you would expect from a brand leader they are manufactured to a very high standard and can be used in a wide range of applications.

These 17ah batteries can be directly replaced with 22ah versions to offer a longer runtime between charges which means more miles per charge, or possibly more importantly more charge left after a days use which will increase the life of the battery saving you money in the long run. the link to these extended version will be a little further down the page.
To make a educated guess of what battery box you have if you do not already know you might find the following useful.
The 12ah box, main body not including the handles will be about 125mm or 4.5-inches high, the whole box including batteries will weigh approx 8.5-kilos, this box can take, 12ah, 15ah.
The extended 17ah box, again main body not including handles will be about 200mm high 7.75-inches and weight will be approx 13-kilos plus, this box can take 17ah, 18ah, 22ah.
