The Sport has all the reliability and performance of the standard Prism plus many additional features to create a safe and stable mode of transport. These features include larger wheels, improved styling and appealing body design, comfortable 360 degrees swivel seat, electromagnetic brakes, adjustable seat and armrests and a front basket. Of course there is one big benefit of having the Sport, a larger, easy to remove battery pack that can hold physically and ampere-wise larger batteries.

How to charge and maintain Prism Sport batteries?
Your new batteries will be partially charged when you receive them, but you must charge them until they are fully charged before using them for the first time. If you won't be using the scooter for an extended period of time, charge it every four weeks to help slow down the natural self-discharge rate. Most importantly, charge your battery after each use; leaving a discharged battery will cause irreversible damage.
Installation for Drive Prism Sport batteries
If you have previously dismantled your chair for travel, you will know where your battery pack is. Simply pull it out by the handle and rest it on the floor or raised bench, turn it over and you will see the screws holding the lid on. Remove these and change over the batteries, there will be two cables to each, and just in case you get interrupted halfway through, we always recommend taking a picture with your phone so you have something to refer to should you need it.

Because they are primarily made of lead, they can be converted into another useful product when they no longer produce the necessary energy. This is only if you take them to a recycling centre near you, which your local council will help you with if need be. This will bring the product's natural green life to a close and ensure that the environmentally friendly energy source completes its life cycle properly.
Can this scooter take more than one size?
The batteries that come as standard when this scooter was bought from new are a pair of 20Ah AGM and we are able to offer an upgrade as standard. We are offering a pair of 22Ah batteries to directly replace these for more miles per charge. They are exactly the same physical size as your current batteries for easy install and will offer a longer runtime, therefore more miles per charge yet still useing your existing charger.
