Battery set replacement for SupaChair Mini, Safari, Sport and Combi Powerchair, sealed lead 12/24v AGM batteries with upgrade available

The Supachair range is all super lightweight, fully transportable, and compact power chairs designed to help you move around in confined spaces, usually in your house, flat, or bungalow. They can be dissembled in seconds into two or six parts for easy storage or transport. The different models of the supachair all vary slightly, with each giving the user different features. The models available are the Mini, Safari, Safari-Sport and the Combi. While they all are different chairs, they all require the same battery pack to power it.

When bought from new, you would have had the option to get the sealed lead acid (SLA) or the lithium battery pack. What we are offering on this page is replacement batteries for the SLA versions. We can also offer upgrades to directly replace these; they are 12ah, 14ah and LiFePO4 lithium versions, they are to replace the sealed lead versions with independant battery management system. If you are unsure what you have already then please check to ensure you are ordering the correct replacement set.

Tips on SupaChair battery care
The key to extending battery life and therefore saving money is to keep them charged. You need to fully charge them upon receipt and before first use. We recommend charging it as soon as possible after each use, and topping up the charge every eight weeks if it is not being used for an extended period of time. Never leave them on charge 24-hours a day, seven days a week as this will waste energy and cause unnecessary damage. The worst thing you can do is try to forcefully drain the energy all the way; doing so will drastically reduce the life of sealed lead batteries.

Environmentally friendly SupaChair batteries

Sealed lead batteries are, as it says in the name, filled with lead. Lead is a precious resource which can be used in many different products around the world and it costs the earth dearly when we take it from her. Please do your part and ensure that your old batteries are recycled at your local recycling centre when you have finished with them. In many years to come when your new batteries have done their job, please ensure this happens to them as well.
