The Liberty Vogue is a transportable lightweight mobility scooter by One-Rehab Komfi-Rider, it has front and rear suspension and can quickly and easily be broken down into smaller parts to fit in the boot of a reasonable sized car for transportation. The design of the box allows a number of different physical and ampere size batteries which is quite unique. Firstly, the standard 12ah which is what most users would have installed however if the box is like the one in the picture then you will be able to install larger 18ah batteries.

Which battery set is right for you?
Below is listed the different batteries available for you to install, ranging from the standard fit 12ah all the way up to high power 20ah LiFePo4 lithium batteries which will give you more useable miles.
12Ah – Standard fit.
14Ah – High ampere standard fit, more miles per charge.
10ah LifePO4 – Lithium versions designed to replace sealed lead.
The following batteries are physically larger but if you have the same battery box as seen in the pictures then you can also install:
18ah – Standard fit.
22ah – High ampere standard fit, more miles per charge.
20ah LifePO4 – Lithium versions designed to replace sealed lead.
Installation
The best advice i can give is to carefully open up your battery box so you can see for yourself how and where the batteries fit into the box, you will see a number of pictures available for you to look at to help guide you along the process of deciding which batteries you want and installing them. You have to change them anyway so it will be good experience to see how simple it’s going to be. Firstly you will need to turn the box upside down and undo the eleven screws around the outside, flip it back over and carefully lift the lid up, making sure not to pull too hard on any of the wires. Now you are inside i would recommend taking a photo or using our pictures as a guide to make sure you have all the wires connected up correctly.
Important note if you are upgrading
If you have decided to upgrade from the smaller to the larger batteries then you will notice the connection is different, luckily your battery box comes with connections for each. The eyelets needed may be shrink wrapped but you should be able to see where they are. Carefully cut back the wrap to just below the eyelet to free up that connection for the larger batteries, our batteries will come with the bolts needed for this installation.
Whatever option you choose the batteries will come out to you almost fully charged but we would recommend that you put them on charge before first use so they are fully charged, also charge after every use, it will never do them any good sitting around in a semi or fully discharged state, also if not being used charge every four to six weeks to get the longest life out of them but do not leave on a charger for more than 24-hours.
