The Days medical aids or DMA healthcare Strider Bootie comes as a 3 or 4 wheeled mobility scooter, it is a rear wheeled drive transportable type scooter, as standard it takes a pair of 12v 12ah batteries to create a 24-volt power source, that is what this offer is for, we have included the physical size of the batteries below so you can check if you are not aware of what you have.
The batteries are valve regulated sealed lead acid, they will not leak if laid on the side making them suitable for such a travel scooter, further they are not-hazardous so OK for public transport.

Charge your new batteries before first use, charge after each and every use, it will do them no good at all allowing them to sit around in a discharged state, where you can its will always be better to never use the last 20 percent of the charge left in the cells, this will help them fulfil the expected life span and if not being used top up the charge every 8-weeks.
Changing the batteries is easy, just roll the battery box over and undo the screws holding the lid on. turn it back remove the lid and you will see the two batteries, just replace one at a time. You can always take a quick picture in case you feel you need to refer to it, there is only two cables on each battery, a postive and negative. The only tools you will need is a long handled screwdriver and perhaps a pair of pliers.
