it may well take a few charges and use in your equipment for the battery to condition and be able to take a full capacity charge, this is quite normal, once you have used your electric vehicle then you should put it back on charge as soon as you can, do not leave it sitting in a semi discharged state for any longer than necessary, do not try to discharge the batteries fully, this can reduce life span quite drastically so cost you money in the long run, if there are long periods where you are not using the batteries you should recharge every four weeks and do not put them away discharged, even partially, do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
The battery cells are constructed using absorbed glass mat technology or probably better known as AGM, they are also valve regulated sealed lead acid or VRLA, this is the recommended type of battery for this installation, they will not leak if mounted on the side so safe to be used indoors without the fear of spillage and suitable for electric powered vehicles
