The Kymco K-Lite is a truly micro-sized mobility scooter; it has been very much designed with easy transportation in mind; it has a single-handed dismantling ability for ease of putting it in the back of a car. Lots of thought has been put into the design, for example, easy access to a table with a swivel seat, stylish alloy wheels and puncture-proof tyres with mudguards to stop those splashes ruining your clothes and a lift-off battery pack. The battery pack as standard comes with two 12v 12ah batteries, which is what this offer is for; the size of the individual battery is listed below for your convenience.

No maintenance will be required throughout the life of the batteries.

Charging the batteries is very important. The better you look after them, the longer they will last, saving you money in the long run.
Charge fully before first use; if in doubt, charge overnight.
Charge as soon as you can after each use, do not let them sit around in a semi-discharged state.
If not being used, recharge every eight weeks, do not leave it on the charger for more than Twenty-four hours.

To extend battery life, you never want to use the last 20% of the battery's capacity; if you think you might, then perhaps you should go for a set of 15-amp hour batteries that will directly replace these. Please note: we have been made aware that some 17ah size boxes are made for this scooter, so you should be sure of what you have before ordering. One way is looking at the height of the box, not including the handles.
